President's Report 2026 Kununurra Agricultural Show
What an incredible 2026 Kununurra Agricultural Show!
On behalf of the Kununurra Agricultural Society, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to support this year's show. Whether you entered an exhibit, competed in an event, volunteered your time, sponsored the show, or simply came to enjoy the festivities, you all played a part in making this year's event such a tremendous success.
This year's show was filled with so many highlights, showcasing the very best our community has to offer. With more than 2,000 entries across all our exhibits, livestock, horses, poultry, arts, crafts, produce, and novelty events, the Showgrounds were alive with talent, passion, and community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many people of all ages getting involved and proudly displaying the skills, creativity, and dedication that make Kununurra such a special place.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible Kununurra Agricultural Society Committee. Our committee members work tirelessly behind the scenes throughout the entire year to plan, organise, and deliver the show. Their dedication, countless volunteer hours, and commitment to our community are truly inspiring, and I am incredibly proud to work alongside such an amazing team. If you think you would like to join us on the committee please think about what you are passionate about and where you may be keen to help out.
To our volunteers, thank you. From setting up before the gates open to packing everything away after the last event, your willingness to lend a hand wherever it is needed keeps the show running smoothly. Your generosity of time and effort does not go unnoticed, and we are sincerely grateful for everything you do.
Finally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our sponsors. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your ongoing support year after year is what allows us to continue growing and improving the Kununurra Agricultural Show. Your generosity enables us to provide quality entertainment, competitions, facilities, and experiences for our community. Quite simply, you are the heart of our show, and we are so incredibly grateful for your belief in what we do.
The Kununurra Agricultural Show is more than just a weekend event it is a celebration of our region, our people, and the strong community spirit that makes the East Kimberley so unique. Seeing families come together, competitors proudly displaying their achievements, and visitors enjoying everything the show has to offer reminds us why this tradition is so important. Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to making the 2026 Kununurra Agricultural Show such a memorable success.
